Queen One Studios Featured in Variety Following Adobe MAX 2025
Queen One Studios co-founder and creative director Ryan Patterson was recently featured in Variety following his participation in Adobe MAX 2025 in Los Angeles.
Ryan was one of five filmmakers invited by Adobe to create an original AI short film showcasing the capabilities of Adobe Firefly. His film, “Dreamer,” premiered at the event alongside films from Nik Kleverov, Dave Clark, MetaPuppet and King Willonius.
Following the screenings, the filmmakers took part in a panel discussion moderated by Variety's Cynthia Littleton, sharing their experiences creating the films and discussing how AI is changing the filmmaking process.
During the conversation, Ryan spoke about the benefits of having access to different AI models through Adobe Firefly Boards.
“A lot of people ask what is the best tool for AI filmmaking. There’s no answer to that question because every tool has its superpower.”
The panel also touched on the importance of storytelling, creative control and protecting intellectual property as AI continues to reshape the industry.
It was a great opportunity to share our approach to AI filmmaking, connect with other creators pushing the boundaries of the technology, and showcase what's possible with these rapidly evolving tools.
